Pearson and National MiddleSchool Association workingtogether for adolescents
1. What constitutes a team?Any type of team can apply ... teams are not simply groups of teachers. They may, and often do, include parents, administrators, and community members. All are welcome to participate in this program.
2. How does a team apply?Simply fill out the Teams That Make a Difference application. Applications can be completed online, faxed, or mailed. Include all pertinent information.
3. Does a team qualify if they do not live in the United States of America?Any person, as long as they are part of a team, can participate in the Teams That Make a Difference Program. This includes teams from the USA and the international community.
4. When is the deadline for entries?The deadline for entries is February 15, 2008.
5. How are the winning teams awarded?Judging will be done by a qualified panel of middle level practitioners who will select two teams from each category. Recipients of the 2008 Teams That Make a Difference Award will be honored at National Middle School Association's 35th Annual Conference and Exhibit in Denver, Colorado, October 30 - November 1, 2008.
