It's Month of the Young Adolescent!

MOYA logoTen- to fifteen-year-olds experience rapid physical and personal changes unlike any other time in their lives. They are faced with major decisions that will direct their behavior throughout their lives. Schools, families, and community members have a responsibility to work in tandem to provide opportunities that help students in this critical age be all they can be. Month of the Young Adolescent provides the perfect opportunity to join together to celebrate young adolescents.

Calling all students! Students can submit a podcast to be featured on the NMSA Web site. Podcasts due: October 31, 2008

It's not too late to plan your celebration. On the Month of the Young Adolescent Web site you'll find PR resources and inspiring ideas for hosting school and community activities and conducting a successful shadow day.
