I am on an extended road trip through Indiana and surrounding states spreading the good news of NMSA09—coming November 5-7 to Indianapolis. I just wanted to let you know that the blog is going to be active starting today and also tell you that the 21st Century Classroom will be rising from the exhibit hall floor in Indy as it did in Denver! The classroom generated a fantastic amount of interest among conference goers, sponsors, and school districts. Bennett, Wagner, and Grody Architects PC of Denver and Adolfson and Peterson Construction of Aurora (CO) again want to be involved.
Watch www.nmsa.org/annual for upcoming news about the conference and about the 21st Century Classroom.Tags:4 comment(s) so far...
Re: 21st Century Classroom is Coming to Indy Clay Middle School (Carmel Clay Schools just North of Indianapolis) would love to have you visit. We think we've successfully replicated many components of both the environment (21st century classroom) and the philosophy (real out-of-your seat project learning). We've incorporated AASL's 21st Century Literacy Standards; access to a global community with literally dozens of distance learning connections distributed to classrooms(Polycom 800); and, true standards connected student multimedia research projects. We've been looking at the NMSA's Denver classroom and our brains have been spinning with all of the possibilities! By Elizabeth Barrett on

Re: 21st Century Classroom is Coming to Indy Sounds like a great opportunity but I have a quick question. Which hotels would you recommend for the conference? By Mike Spicer on

Re: 21st Century Classroom is Coming to Indy Mike, Watch our Web site as housing information will be going up soon. We are using several hotels—each has its own attributes and all are close to the convention center. Hope to see you in Indy! By asummers on

Re: 21st Century Classroom is Coming to Indy Does anyone know of an exhibitor that would like to share a booth? I have a textbook I'd like to present at the conference. Thanks!
