A new feature will be added to the NMSA annual conference this year in Indianapolis—Tech Savvy Saturday.  Although we will focus on technology throughout the entire conference, we will have a very strong focus on technology on Saturday, November 7.

The 21st Century Classroom will feature demonstrations and presentations throughout the day (on Thursday and Friday the classroom will be filled with students and teachers doing authentic teaching and learning); the Center for Interactive Learning and Collaboration will be hosting a number of virtual field trips; special presentations on technology will be highlighted; and many other special technology events will be happening.

Make sure you plan your trip to the conference so that you can stay the entire day on Saturday.  The day will end at the 1:00 PM general session featuring a tremendous middle level educator that everyone wants to hear—Rick Wormeli

Re: Tech Savvy Saturday

I loved the focus on Tech at the Denver conference. I'm glad to see it being emphasized again for the next conference!
