Much work has been going on behind the scenes to bring a French Connection—NMSA style—to the conference.  Erica King, French teacher at Lynhurst 7 and 8 Grade Center in the Metropolitan School District of Wayne Township (IN) has been working with Estelle Caugy, English teacher at the junior school of College Jacques Twinger in Strasbourg, France.  They do regular collaborative lessons through video conferencing.  The good people at Tandberg, Inc. are working to facilitate the video connection between the two schools on Saturday, November 7 from the 21st Century Classroom at the NMSA annual conference.  Attendees will be able to see a world language lesson in a truly global setting.  The session is scheduled for 8 AM on Saturday and there will be a limit on the number of people that can be accomodated at this session.
