Conference Connections

There are many ways to connect with NMSA's annual conference this year.

NMSA08

Make sure to tag your content with NMSA08. The more items on the Web tagged NMSA08, the more likely people will connect with you and your content.

The Conference Insider
The Conference Insider at NMSA08 is a daily Web newsletter written by middle level students from the Denver area. Students will be reporting on presenters, attendees, entertainment, and other fun stuff. If you are at NMSA08, look for the student reporters and photographers. If you are unable to be here this year, read The Conference Insider and check out the student perspective on NMSA08.

Facebook
Become a fan—visit NMSA on Facebook. At the NMSA Fan page you can RSVP and tell everyone you are coming to NMSA08. And then you can write on the wall—let them know how excited you are about going to Denver this October!

Ning
There are NMSA08 pages on Ning. Log on, sign up, post messages, upload photos or video from the conference, start a discussion. You can form your own conference group on the NMSA08 Ning pages to set up time to meet, talk about specific topics or sessions, ask questions, find out who is coming to the conference from your part of the world.

Blogs
Do you love to read about middle level education? How about NMSA08? Then check out a blog and subscribe to the RSS feed for the latest updates. Don't just lurk—comment and become part of the conversation!

Microblogs
If you like up-to-the-minute information about what is happening at NMSA08, or if you like to let others know what you're experiencing and doing at the moment, use a microblog, like Twitter or Pownce.

SchoolTube
If you are in Denver for NMSA08, don't forget to visit the SchoolTube studio. SchoolTube provides a secure way for students and teachers to share video for educational purposes. Stop by the SchoolTube studio and record your own personal video message for your students and colleagues back home.
